Chamein Canton, Head Agent : After being managing partner of the Canton Smith Agency Chamein is now the head agent as of 2008. Chamein brings her experience as a freelance writer and novelist to the agency. Ms. Canton's credits include her nonfiction book Down That Aisle In Style A Wedding Guide For Full Figured Women (WindRiver Publishing) which was released in November 2006. Her first romance/chick lit novel Not His Type (Genesis Press/Indigo Books) was released in October 2007. Not His Type received the Romantic Times Book Reviewer's Choice Award for Best African American Romance for 2007. Her latest book Bliss Inc. (Indigo Love Spectrum) reached bestseller status in the summer of 08. The More Things Change (Indigo Books), the sequel to Not His Type is slated for release in December 2008.
